Attendance Award

Each term at Mickleham Primary School, students with exceptional attendance are rewarded by being invited to a hot chip lunch. Last term, 38 students were invited with an amazing attendance rate, not having missed a day of school for the whole of term 2. Well done to these students.

Remember, being at school is very important as we want all our students to get a great education, and the building blocks for a great education begin with students coming to school each and every day. If students miss school regularly, they miss out on learning the fundamental skills that will set them up for success in the later years of school. There is no safe number of days for missing school – each day a student misses puts them behind and can affect their educational outcomes. Each missed day is associated with progressively lower achievement in Reading, Writing and Mathematics.

Well done to 1/2A (Mrs Davine’s class) who were the attendance award winners for Weeks 1 and 2.

RICH Awards

Congratulations to these students who received a RICH awards for weeks 1 to 3.
