Individualised Learning
Our extensive assessment schedule delivers information to teachers to enable them to plan individualised learning experiences to meet the needs of every child across the day, week, term and year. Weekly collaborative planning sessions are the forum for in-depth conversations on research-based strategies to support the growth of every child in every area of the curriculum.
Extension
Students who demonstrate understanding well above expected level are included in extension programs, ensuring their ‘productive struggle’ is appropriate and tailored to meet their needs. Extension programs include: Novel studies and Mathematics competitions.
Tutoring
The Department of Education initiative – Tutoring Learning Initiative (TLI) has been extremely successful for our students. We have protected the time allocated to this program which has resulted in significant growth by most of the students who have been involved.
