Monty’s Colour Run- Register here
The Community & Fundraising sub-committee has organised our major event for 2025 – Monty’s Colour Run. On Friday October 10th (from 2:00pm) the children will run around the Sports Field whilst MPS staff members spray them with a range of coloured powders. We have not been able to hold such a big event in the past as we did not have a suitable space, but I believe it is an exceptionally popular event that can raise a substantial amount of money for our school. Many of our families will be familiar with the Holi festival – it is similar in the use of colour.
Parents are asked to set up an account for each of their children and help their children to raise money amongst family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues. There are many, many prizes available – each child can win up to five (5) prizes, prizes for the children who raise the most money in their class and the whole school. In fact, the top three fundraisers will get to SLIME a teacher!!!
We are hoping to purchase additional play equipment for use in the playground (more soccer goals) and materials for the children to use on days when they cannot play outside.
We truly need your support to make this an amazing success. Parents are welcome to come and watch their children having heaps of fun. We strongly advise that you pack an old towel for your child to sit on for the trip home in the car on September 12th.

Thank you so much to the many children and families who have embraced this fundraising event. It is our major event for the year; we hope to be able to replace our existing soccer goals and purchase a couple more sets. Each set of goals is approximately $3,000.00! We will also use the money to purchase resources for the children to use on the wet/windy/hot days that cause them to stay inside at break times.
The children are getting excited about the prizes they are earning and the possibility of being one of three children to slime three teachers.
At the moment, less than half of our children have profiles and only half of these children have raised money. Our total is over $10,000.00 so far!!!!!!!!!!!! This is awesome. We want to encourage everyone to ask their family members, friends, work colleagues and neighbours to help our school out with this fundraiser.
Families who do not wish to make donations via the website are welcomed to make cash donations at the Office. Your children will still be eligible to get the prizes.
