Your child is guaranteed a place at their designated neighbourhood school. Scroll down to the School Zone tab to find your zone.
You can apply for a place at our school if you are in our designated neighbourhood school. You will be requested to provide supporting documentation to assist in verifying your permanent resident. Documents provided should match the details recorded on the school enrolment application, including parent/carers name and address.

Once a place has been offered, an Enrolment Form will be sent out via email. Please return the completed forms along with all supporting documentations. Documents required at the time of lodging completed enrolment forms include:
- Birth Certificate
- Proof of Citizenship/VISA status
- Immunisation certificate

- Grades P-6 acceptable use agreement – 2025
School Zone
School zones for primary and secondary schools can be found on the Find my School website.
Your designated neighbourhood Government school (referred to as your local school) is generally the government school closest to your child’s permanent residential address.
Your child has a right to enrol at their local school. This right is set out in the Education and Training Reform Act 2006. This means, if your child lives within the school zone, they must be offered a place when seeking enrolment.
School Tours
School Tours are conducted on Week 4 and Week 8 of each term, at 10:30am.
Please complete the Expressions of Interest form below, and your tour booking will be confirmed by email; alternatively, you can contact the school office 9745 2250 to register for a tour.
It may be possible to arrange a tour at another time. Please contact the school office to enquire.

Prep Transition
Future Prep students are invited to attend the Mickleham Primary School Transition Program. These sessions enable students to experience the school environment through numerous literature-based and hands-on activities and allows staff to become familiar with the new Prep students. Simultaneously, information sessions will be conducted for parents, covering a range of topics of interest to school age parents.

Secondary School Transition
The Department of Education identifies the catchment area for secondary schools, which are strictly enforced.
A State-wide process must be followed, Grade 6 parents will be contacted at the appropriate times, approximately mid-year.
State-wide Year 7 Transition Day – Tuesday, 9th of December 2025.
Prep 2027 Enrolment
You will be able to apply to enrol your child in Foundation (Prep) 2026 at Mickleham Primary School from Monday 20th April 2026.
