Mickleham Primary School conducts learning in a very natural and attractive environment, including the following:
Learning Environments:
- A brand-new Administration & Specialist building
- Two brand new learning buildings, each with eight classrooms, a central learning area, two withdrawal rooms and indoor toilets in each
- Two double portable classrooms
- A portable classroom for indoor Physical Education classes and OSHC
- A portable outdoor toilet block
Our buildings have been named for species of plant found in the local area:
- Banksia – Administration/Specialist building
- Bottle Brush – Grade Prep & Grade 1/2 & Junior Tutoring
- Wattle – Grade 3/4, 5/6 & Senior Tutoring
- Red Gum – 2 x double portable classrooms – Assemblies, Grade 6 program
- Melaleuca – Multipurpose Room (MPR), Canteen & Toilet block
- Murnong (yam daisy) – Bluestone Building – Performing Arts
