We are quickly approaching a big milestone – 100 days of school!
To celebrate the occasion, we’re turning up the volume with the theme School of Rock: I’ve Rocked a Hundred Days of School!
On Tuesday, July 29th, Prep students are invited to come dressed as a rock star – think leather jackets, wild hair and cool sunglasses.
Throughout the day, they will be participating in Literacy and Numeracy activities that involve the number 100.
Your child will also be coming home with a zip lock bag during Week 1 of Term 3. They need to fill this with exactly 100 of the same item.
Some examples of this are
- 100 buttons
- 100 grains of rice
- 100 leaves
- 100 lego pieces
- 100 squares of paper
- 100 paper clips
- 100 m&ms
- 100 skittles
We will then use these items to create a Hundred Wall.
